You will be surprised by how many women struggle with milk supply issues.
It is never too long before new mothers are spending long nights searching Google for an answer to the question “how to increase milk supply overnight?”
I want to clear something up right away. Every woman believes that they are not producing enough milk for their new child. This includes mothers that have already breastfed children in the past.
When I gave birth to my most recent kid, I spend a long time searching for answers on how I could boost my milk supply.
I have just one simple tip to share with you (absolutely not clickbait!) and it actually did increase my milk production. It made breast pumping a lot more productive, and my kid had access to a ton of milk when I went back to work.
I didn’t have that many issues breastfeeding.
My kid latched on to my breasts pretty easily, and she was more than happy to feast to her heart’s content.
Obviously, I still had that nagging feeling in the back of my mind about whether I was producing enough milk, but she seemed nice and full, so it was fine.
The real struggle for me started when I went back to work.
For starters; I had to try and get my kid to take a bottle.
She was so stubborn, and it took a long time for her to even entertain the notion that the sweet nectar she was drinking from my breast could be found in the bottle too.
Although, that is a whole other story.
Throw in the fact that breast pumping is an energy-draining experience, and the problems really started to stack up.
Thankfully, until I went back to work, I could breastfeed my kid as much as she wanted, which really helped to cultivate that relationship.
I never liked breast pumping.
And I still don’t.
It is an energy-draining experience, and I never felt like I was producing enough milk for my ever-hungry child.
It turns out that I was just breast pumping wrong. I would often hook myself up to the breast pump for an hour at a time, and often I would barely produce a trickle (see why I was so scared I wasn’t producing enough milk?)
The first thing I did was hunt for tips online about breast pumping.
While that is out of the scope of this article, I got to tell you ladies; the secret to effective breast pumping is to get yourself on a schedule.
The amount of milk that you produce in one pumping session will go up. It also takes a lot less energy. It almost makes breast pumping tolerable.
Once I got on a breast pumping schedule, I realized I still wasn’t producing enough milk for a growing child.
While everything I was producing before was enough, my kid was getting bigger.
She was getting stronger.
The amount he needed to thrive was going up, and my pumping didn’t seem to be working.
So, guess what I did?
You got it. I went right back on the internet.
How to Increase Milk Supply Overnight
The internet is rife with tips on how to increase your milk supply.
I tried a few of them. Believe me, most of them don’t work.
Well, if they did work, it wasn’t really a noticeable increase in breastmilk.
It was just a waste of time and money for me.
What worked immediately – 70% increase in breast milk overnight
After what felt like weeks of searching, I found a group of women all touting the same product; Mrs. Patel’s Super bars. I had to check them out.
When my Mrs. Patel’s Super bars arrived, it was straight into following the instructions.
Luckily, they were pretty simple to follow. All I had to do was eat one bar in the morning and my breastmilk production would shoot up.
Not going to lie.
The name ‘Super’ didn’t sound that appealing to me, but I was surprised by how delicious they tasted.
The next morning, I ate my first bar.
Overnight, my breastmilk production shot up by a whopping 70%.
I couldn’t believe it!
Not only did I have enough milk to satisfy that ever-increasing appetite, but I had enough that I could throw some breastmilk into the freezer just in case I had a couple of ‘off-days’ for milk production, although I can’t say that I had many of them once I was using Mrs. Patel’s Super bars.
I also had a high enough milk production that I could even spend a bit of time properly breastfeeding my little girl again, strengthening that bond.
This wasn’t something that I was able to do before. She was pretty much stuck with the bottle because the pumping was just taking too much out of me.
I am seriously not kidding here. I really did try a lot of different tips to increase my milk production.
If you have heard of a method, then I was probably practicing it.
I was that concerned about my milk production. The only thing that did work for me was the good old Mrs. Patel’s Super bars.
I have no idea why this was the only thing that was the only thing that worked, but it was worked so brilliantly that I tout it to every new mother that I know, and I am now sharing the same amazing tip with you.
If you are a new mother and seriously want to increase your milk production right now, then you have to check out those Super Bars.
Throw in a couple of awesome supplements for good measure, and your milk production will go through the roof.
You will never have to worry about that milk running out again.
More milk production also means fewer, and sometimes quicker, breast pumping sessions too…and that is always a plus!
